RealMega.com - MonsterDaata.com and MonsterDomain.com on Wednesday announced the purchase of , NeighborhoodFind.com , NeighborhoodPlace.com creating one of the most comprehensive online sources of real estate information and news content. The announcement comes on the heels of last years merger of RealMega.com with MegaNewsNetwork.com and RealOffice.com

The purchase, which has been approved by the companies board of directors will maintain two independent web presences, but will adopt the innovations developed by each in the merging of the MegaFlashPage.com, (free flash web pages for the real estate and news enthusiast), MegaBlogPage.com (free online web journals) , the semi-monthly MegaFactor newsletters, and the RealProfiles.com directory. In most cases, the web-based real estate information and news are free for viewers.

The companies generate most of their revenue by selling other services and advertising. "It seemed like a logical fit," said RealMega chief executive Lowell Overton, who will serve as chairman of the new company. Real estate and News executives said the merger is part of an ongoing industry shakeout of firms consolidating operations. The combined firm does not expect to ask its investors for more money. The purchase will result in no layoffs as the firms combine operations.
